Car Ferreries to the Island are:

• Portsmouth - Fishbourne (Wightlink website) - Directions from Fishboure (Ryde)

In additional high-speed passenger-only services are provided by

Wightlink: Yarmouth

1. Easiest way is to follow signs for Freshwater (Right at first roundabout) then pick upsigns for Freshwater Bay and the Military Road (A3055).
2. It's 12m from Freshwater Bay to Niton. In village turn Right at crossroads opposite Norris Stores, go up hill as 4. above.

Red Funnel: E Cowes

1. Follow signs to Newport (A3021) for 2.5m to roundabout, then continue as below.

Wightlink: Fishbourne

1. Follow signs to Newport (A3054) to roundabout (2m), take 1st exit and continue into Newport (1.5m). Look for signs to Sandown.
2. Keep in left lane through roundabout and exit under footbridge on A3020 to Sandown.
3. After 2m turn Right to Shanklin/Ventnor and Right again after 2m at Rookley (just after 30 limit), signpost for Niton and Chale.
4. Stay on this minor road for 5m to Niton, pass through village, up hill and 1st Right after garage is St Catherines Road.
